This policy establishes the requirements for the retention and disposal of data processed by JBMD Creations, LLC in connection with the Clarity personal productivity application. It ensures that personal and financial data is retained only as long as necessary, and disposed of securely when it is no longer needed.
This policy applies to all personal data collected, processed, or stored by JBMD Creations, LLC through the Clarity application, including account information, financial data retrieved via Plaid Technologies, Inc., productivity data from connected third-party services, and application operational logs.

Electronic Data: All data subject to deletion is permanently removed from the Turso (LibSQL) database using hard-delete operations. Data is not archived, anonymized, or transferred prior to deletion — it is irrecoverably purged.
Automated Deletion: Application logs older than 90 days are automatically purged on a rolling basis without manual intervention.
User-Initiated Deletion: Users may disconnect individual integrations at any time via the Settings page, triggering deletion of the associated data within 30 days. Users may request full account deletion by contacting support@jbmdcreations.com; all account data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the verified request.
Banking credential data (usernames and passwords) is handled exclusively by Plaid Technologies, Inc. and is never transmitted to or stored by JBMD Creations, LLC. Financial data retrieved via Plaid is stored only to display it to the authenticated user and is not shared with any third parties. Plaid's own data retention practices are governed by Plaid's Privacy Policy and Data Use Agreement.
The owner and sole operator of JBMD Creations, LLC is responsible for enforcing this policy, responding to user deletion requests within the prescribed timeframes, and reviewing this policy at least annually or following any significant change to the Clarity application's data handling practices.
This policy is reviewed annually or when significant changes occur to the systems, data types processed, or applicable regulations. The effective date will be updated upon each revision.
